Donna Margherita is truly fantastic. The food is authentic Italian made perfectly; the real deal, by people who genuinely care about the cuisine. The pasta selection is excellent, with many options to enjoy on multiple visits, and the pizza is truly outstanding: proper crust, high-quality ingredients, and full of flavor. Little taste of Italy in this cute little place serving delicious Italian specialities made with fresh, high quality ingredients. Some of the favorites: Pizza Margherita( thin slice, Neapolitan style pizza) Octopus salad is to die for . Pasta with clams another favorite specialty of the house . Can’t wait to be back to try more dishes.

What a great low key find on the UES. It is a bit tight inside with a handful of tables, but they do have an upstairs area with a couple more, and we did enjoy it up there. Pizza is a Neapolitan style and while not my favorite, theirs is exceptional. The crust was out of control, light and airy and had a great flavor. But don’t go eating it all before your entrees arrive. Same some crust to sop up some of the delicious sauce from your pasta.. you’re welcome. The Sunday sauce was recommended by the server and for good reason. The paccheri pasta, one of the most underrated in the game, was the perfect vehicle for this dish. That rich and luscious sauce that has a great balance of sweet and acidity would hide in the big pockets of the pasta as would some of the tender fall apart short rib. Great hearty dish that had me polishing it off with that pizza crust when no more noodles were left. Great authentic Italian cuisine in an intimate and cozy setting!

Stumbled upon this place randomly with some friends, and I’m so grateful I did. Everything we had was delicious, especially the eggplant rigatoni, the bucatini, and the burrata pizza, which was honestly the BEST pizza I’ve had— the sauce was incredible. A special thank you to the owner, Enzo, for such a wonderful meal, warm conversation, complimentary dessert and espresso, and the most delicious fresh tomatoes from Mount Vesuvius. The food and hospitality made the whole experience feel so special. Can’t wait to come back!

This place instantly brought me right back to Italy in the best way!! From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm, lively, and welcoming. What made the experience even more special was the incredible hospitality from everyone!! The owner and the staff were so kind, attentive, and genuinely sweet!!! We were lucky enough to have the owner sitting right behind us, and he made the night even better by recommending amazing dishes and surprising us with a sweet dessert at the end!! The food was absolutely divine. The tomatoes were incredible and they came straight from the mountains of Italy, so fresh, rich, and full of flavor!! We ordered the melanzane alla parmigiana, diavola pizza, rigatoni alla Norma, bucatini all’Amatriciana, and chicken Milanese, and everything was delicious! Overall, we had such a fun and memorable night! The staff made us feel so comfortable, the atmosphere was cozy and homey, and ending the meal with a classic espresso shot made us laugh because it truly felt like we were back in Italy. My best friends and I left feeling like we gained an Italian dad by the end of the experience haha! And we are definitely coming back!
